The Indoor Playground is safe and appropriate for children 0-5 years of age.
Biting, hitting, shoving and any type of physical aggression are not acceptable.
Infractions to appropriate behavior should be dealt with in an educational manner Use the opportunity to teach a better way to resolve conflict.
Please encourage older children to give younger ones the right of way.
Any child playing recklessly may be asked to leave.
Caregivers must accompany children at all times and are responsible for their direct supervision.
The playground is separated into zones. For the safety of all children, please ensure your
children are playing in the appropriate location. (For example, infants and
toddlers should not wander into the Fast Zone, nor should older children play
roughly in the Infant and Toddler Zones.) The playground is set up to provide
age-appropriate opportunities for differing stages of development.
Pedal bikes and all quick-moving vehicles must remain in the Fast Zone. Slower-moving vehicles without pedals may be taken into other areas.
Spot your children when they are climbing
Should you notice any inappropriate play by or around your children, please supervise them even more closely for the remainder of the play session.
A maximum of 3 children per adult is requested to ensure adequate supervision.
The Indoor Playground is a cooperative effort.
Caregivers are responsible for setting up and putting away equipment and toys.
Likewise, caregivers are expected participate in scheduled Toy Cleaning as well.
Volunteers for facilitation, as well as for serving on the Board of Directors, are always welcome.
The Indoor Playground relies on volunteers for 100% of its management.
Sick children should not attend the Indoor Playground until they are well.
Mild cold symptoms are understandable, but please be sure to disinfect toys after use if your child is sneezing, coughing or has a runny nose.
Be sure to keep your little ones at home if they have a fever, greenish mucus discharge, severe cold symptoms, or have vomited in the last 24 hours in order to protect them and others.
For health and safety reasons, shoes and/or socks are required for parents and children at all times.
Everyone must be seated in the Snack Zone while eating and drinking
Hot beverages must be kept out of children’s reach.
Caregivers are responsible for clean up of wet and dry spills.
A donation of $1 per child is requested for each visit Multiple visit punch cards are available for purchase.
Facilitators are on-site to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to approach them as needed.
